Your typical rural fence was originally designed to keep the stock in, and the "pests" out of your paddocks, whilst defining the boundary between your land & the neighbours'. Not much has changed re the reason for needing a rural fence, however there is now a much larger range of products to choose from and the methods of erecting a fence have sure been refined over the years.
Depending on your preferences we are able to erect:
We also build feeding troughs and are able to install water troughs and associated pipework throughout your property, utilising the trenching unit on our skid steer loaders. We will also remove your old fence, clean up the fence line for your new fence, and remove any rubbish to the dump using our loaders & tipper if required. We can also clean out your dam while we're at it.
We prefer to erect post & cap rail end assemblies on the Darling Downs because of the high movement in the black soil, however we will install ground stay assemblies if you prefer.
If the fence involves a large number of split posts to be erected, we use a modified Lyco Post-driver with extra heavy hammer, hydraulic side shift and a high torque auger motor, on the back of a Massey Ferguson tractor to drive them into the ground. We point the posts first and then drive them using the machine. This is a much more efficient way of erecting a split post fence than how they used to be done.
For cleaning fence lines, digging post holes, lifting timber etc, we use our skid-steer loaders:
